Art Taipei, one of the most important annual art events in Taiwan, will have its grand opening on August 26th at Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1. A total of 124 galleries from home and abroad will participate in this event, which makes it one of the largest events ever, not to mention that the proportion of international galleries is more than half of the total. As a participant in Art Taipei 2011, Da Xiang Art Space aims not only to advance our fame in international art field, but to stand on our usual academic style. We will therefore introduce eight artists and their artworks in this exhibition, including our patronized artists, well-selected international artists, as well as some emerging Taiwanese potential artists. These artists are from diverse cultural backgrounds and generations, including Zhang Yu, Hsu Ruifu, Duan Yueheng, Lin Shihyung, Lee Sangmin, Kim Sun Hyoung, Low Kim-chit and Li Yiya.

By doing so, Da Xiang Art Space would like to introduce Taiwanese art lovers to distinctive creation we have been discovering during domestic as well as international art events. We believe that with our unique vision and innovative ideas, the charm of art can spread so extensively that it will resonate in your mind and bring out your deeper passion for art.
